Watch the video below to learn how this FREE 5-day event will help you better understand your child’s brain & what strategies actually work.
Does this sound familiar?
You feel like you're constantly reminding your child to do the same things over and over.
Homework, chores, or everyday routines turn into bigger battles than they seem like they should be.
Your child waits until the last minute to start almost everything—or has a hard time getting started at all.
You feel like you're doing more managing than parenting, and you wish your child were more independent.
You've tried planners, rewards, reminders, and consequences, but the same struggles keep showing up.
You have a feeling there's more going on beneath the surface—you just don't know exactly what.
You suspect Executive Function plays a role, but you're not sure what that really means.
If you found yourself nodding along, you're not alone.
Understanding Executive Function can change the way you see your child—and help you choose strategies that truly fit the way their brain works.
Learn from 17 leading experts how to:
Reduce daily stress at home.
Make mornings run more smoothly.
Navigate homework with less conflict.
Encourage responsibility without constant nagging.
Respond differently to procrastination.
Support emotional regulation.
Help both of you recover after setbacks.
Build habits that last.
Know when to step in—and when to step back.
Celebrate progress, even when it's slow.
More than anything, your child's behavior will start to make a lot more sense.
Meet Your Host
👋 Hi! I'm Carrie Bonnett—veteran teacher, lifelong list-maker, and Executive Function coach.
After spending decades in the classroom and working with hundreds of students, parents and educators, I've learned something important: when we understand what's happening beneath the surface, we stop guessing and start supporting our children more effectively.
That's why everything I do is rooted in a no-shame, brain-first approach. I work with families across the country to help students build Executive Function skills and support parents with practical strategies (for their kids and themselves!). I also create digital resources, provide professional development for educators, and teach early-career teachers as an adjunct instructor at the University of Portland.
I created this Get the Brain on Board summit because I believe parents deserve more than one-size-fits-all advice. You deserve to understand why your child struggles—and to walk away with practical strategies that truly fit the way their brain works.
And one more thing: I intentionally made this an audio-only summit. As busy parents, finding another hour to sit in front of a screen can feel impossible. I wanted to create something you could take with you—whether you're commuting, walking the dog, making dinner, or tackling a pile of laundry. My hope is that these conversations fit seamlessly into your everyday life, so learning feels like one less thing to fit into your day, not one more.
I'm so glad you're here, and I can't wait for you to learn from this incredible group of experts
Why "Get the Brain on Board"?
So often we focus on changing behavior before we understand what's happening in the brain.
When we understand how our child’s brain works, we can stop fighting against it and start supporting it.
This summit will help you understand the Executive Function skills behind everyday challenges, so you can choose strategies that truly fit your child.
